- Ruby - design director, artist and resident cookie maker
- Bee - her original position was a fit model but she was found sleeping on the job so she was demoted to CNO “Chief Napping Officer” and she seems to be excelling at her duties. She can usually be found napping on her favorite green chair in our studio.
- Meep and Clara - our quality control dept. They make sure a hair or two gets in each box for good luck.
- And we could not do any of this without Dino. He makes sure we enjoy each and every day. He keeps our studio and warehouse organized and takes care of us all.
Hi, we are Ruby & Bee, the creative team behind the Ruby & Bee collection.
About a year ago I “Ruby,” aka Sherra, decided to follow my dreams and combine my 2 greatest passions: sportswear design and dogs. So of course my dog Brittany “Bee” became my inspiration, my muse.
Our friendship began almost 14 years ago when Brittany was only 8 weeks old. Our journey has taken us across the country twice, to weddings on the beach (Brittany was my maid of honor) and now to designing a line of clothing together.
The concept for the line was to create a fun, sporty line of “boutique” clothing for dogs and coordinating tees for their humans - a doggy and me line. Our emphasis is on well produced, American-made garments that are highly durable. And we want each purchase to be extra special so we packaged it in a fun zebra box with lots of extras inside.
We are a small company, which allows us to cater to our customers and not lose sight of our goals - to enjoy the process of design. One of the things we will be doing in the near future is working with more dog rescues. We strongly believe every dog deserves a loving home and every person deserves a loving dog.
