In 2007 I followed my dream and combined my 2 greatest passions- fashion  and dogs. At the time I had a little red Cocker Spaniel named Brittany “Bee”. With Brittany by my side I created the first line of tee shirts. I designed the catalogs and sewed all the samples and learned how to screen print. I traveled to adoption events and dog fairs and went up and down the California coast. Brittany eventually went to the Rainbow Bridge 4days before her 17th birthday. But she will forever remain a huge part of the company and my heart.

Since then I've adopted two new members into my family- Trudie McGrudie and Minka Doodle. Trudie is a super mellow Westie/Corgie mix that was found in the streets of downtown Los Angeles. She was hungry, pregnant and scared of everyone who came close. A rescue put her with a wonderful foster family who took her in and taught her to trust again. She had 9 healthy puppies who have all since found homes. When I met her it was love at first sight. She is pleased to be my fit model (for the right amount of cookies, of course) and gets more social every day. I adopted Minka from the shelter. She was known as the "screamer" and I  soon found out why!  She is a little dog with big vocal chords and isn't afraid to use them. She is the cutest little Chorkie/Morkie mix with the bossiest attitude around the neighborhood. She keeps me on my toes but is also a snuggle bug when she wants to be.

I am always adding new styles to the line and continue to source new American made products. I have added a Men’s line so the guys can get into the fun too!

I love being a boutique company which allows me to cater to my customers and not lose sight of my goal- to enjoy the process of design. In the future I want to continue working with dog rescues/shelters-giving a portion of sales as well as my time to help as many dogs as I can find a home. I strongly believe that every dog deserves a loving home- and every person deserves a loving dog.

XOXO, Sherra aka Ruby
